RedPrairie and Retail Pipeline Combine Forces to Drive Flowcasting

We are pleased to report that our software partner, Retail Pipeline, is joining up with RedPrarire in a Joint Venture, to market, sell and support the Collaborative Flowcasting software applications.

Following proof of concept programs and subsequent roll-outs this past year where collaborative Flowcasting trading partners have been experiencing significant improvements in OOS, service levels and sales, RedPrairie approached Retail Pipeline to join forces.

What this means to the marketplace, is that RedPrairie’s size, scope and experience will now provide the credibility to allow more companies to take advantage of this new paradigm changing approach to managing inventory through the supply chain. For Retail Pipeline’s Andre Martin and Darryl Landvater, the JV brings a strong and reputable sales and marketing engine in addition to RedPrairie’s technical services capabilities.

For RedPrairie, the addition of Retail Pipeline’s planning capabilities could bring the opportunity to embed consumer demand driven planning capabilities to its supply chain applications. For example, users of RP’s warehouse management, labor management and transportation management systems could get a better long term prediction of space requirements, labor requirement and truck loading and capacity requirements looking forward a year in to the future. Collaborative Flowcasting is actually a perfect fit within RedPrairie’s E2e Business Process Platform, managing business processes end-to-end, from the retail shelf to the manufacturing floor.http://www.redprairie.com/flowcasting.aspx?lid=1
